We prefer to work by appointment as this allows us to ensure we are offering an excellent level of service.
Whilst you are welcome to come along without an appointment you may find we are unable to facilitate either the viewing or trying of gowns as precedence is given to pre-arranged visits.
To avoid disappointment we recommend you book but if you choose not to please understand that if we can't see you it is because we are with somebody or expecting someone who has booked and will be arriving shortly.
Introduction
Hello, my name is Jo and I own and run new bride in Nottingham along with Brides and Gowns in Derby. I am what is known as an independent bridal retailer and I opened my first bridal shop, Brides and Gowns, in 2000. new bride opened in January 2003.
new bride is located in Nottingham city centre, as are many other bridal shops, so I knew I had to set myself apart by being different. I decided I wanted a shop that offers a superior bridal shopping experience. To this end we carry a range of carefully selected gowns from leading designers which bring to life my vision of better quality and better design. This gives the store an individual feel and we aim to address the needs of the bride looking for a gown that reflects her own aspirations and individuality.
Shopping at new bride
I have learned over the years the best way to ensure a good service is to be prepared. Therefore, at new bride we prefer to work by appointment as this allows us to dedicate time to the bride and her party. I encourage people to enter the store and browse the collections and if they like what they see to book an appointment. The staff are friendly, approachable and ready to help you if they can.
What you will find in store
We sell wedding dresses and accessories for the bride and bridesmaid dresses. Please use the links to the right of the screen to view the designer websites and this will give an indication of what you can find in store. Please note we do not carry samples of all the dresses from all the designers' ranges. We also supply special occasion gowns for events like Balls and Proms.
Our wedding gown samples are in sizes 8 to 14 and for the bridesmaid we carry samples from 8 to 30. For brides looking to try sizes 16 to 30 please visit Brides and Gowns whose sample sizes range from 8 to 30.
